The DM 2000 connects to a PC and the
technology is software driven. The subject places his/her face on the chin rest
in front of a binocular device and the pupil image is captured with a brief
flash of light. Each test takes between 90 seconds and five minutes to
complete. On the front end, the technology is ˇ°point and clickˇ± and is simple
enough for anyone that has basic computer literacy to use.
The DM 2010 offers the same features as the
DM 2000 except that it includes a built-in computer and can function as a
stand-alone drug pre-screening device.
