| | | | | - IrisCAMM
IrisCAMM stands for a series of IriTech’s state of art camera component for iris recognition. It comprises high performance CMOS sensor, specially designed lens, actuator for auto focus, IR LED, indicator lights and image signal processing board and software. Its salient characteristic is its low power requirement in that it not only requires very low power to operate but also needs very low power IR LED to illuminate, which makes it an ideal component for mobile iris recognition devices. Its interface comes in two varieties: one is the native YUV 422 protocol for interface with IriTech’s DaVinci-based board and the other is USB 2 interface. This latter interface is especially useful in that it allows easy integration with wider classes of mobile hardware. Its digital image output provides crisp progressively scanned images that are ideally suited for iris recognition.
