IrisReB—Iris Recognition Board— is IriTech’s hardware component product that utilizes TI’s DaVinci DSP chip. It is a low cost, compact board that combines easy camera interface—especially with IriTech’s IrisCAMM—with full PC-like functionalities. It is designed for easy integration in various types of iris recognition terminal device to meet varying market needs. The recommended standard configuration of the intended terminal iris recognition device comprises IrisReB, IrisCAMM, plus some supporting circuitry. With IrisReB with IrisReST and IrisCAMM, details of iris recognition including the camera interface are shielded from the terminal device designers or manufacturers so that they can concentrate on the value added aspect of the final products.
