Certifications
In addition to rigorous in-house testing of all camera hardware, IriTech contracts independent testing to ensure that the products will meet safety and electromagnetic emission regulations:
- The infrared LED lighting on the IriCAMM and IriTerminal cameras has been measured by the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS) to produce very low infrared radiation: 0.176 mW/cm2 at 20 cm distance [KRISS Cert. No. 0801-01258-001]. This is 1.76% of the LED eye safety standard of 10 mW/cm2 recommended by the American Conference of Government Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH), making IriTech's iris cameras one of the safest in the world.
- Our IriTerminal packaged cameras undergo FCC Part 15 Class A Verification testing to ensure that these cameras will not radiate electromagetic power that might interfere with other devices. The IriTerminal MD-300 has been verified to be compliant by ETL, Inc. [Test Report ETLE100205.02].
Various partner companies have certified IriTech's iris recognition solution:
- Daon, a leading biometric identity management company, has certified IriTech as a Daon Advantage Program partner. Our algorithm is now one of the iris solutions offered by the DaonEngine.
