Why IriTech is Different

IriTech has been developing its patent pending technology for over a decade with tremendous results, emerging as one of very few companies in the world that offer an iris biometrics solution. IriTech's innovations in drug pre-screening and iris identification are significantly differentiated from competing products. On the drug pre-screening front, unlike traditional testing techniques, such as urine testing, our drug pre-screening technologies require no bodily fluids, lack reagents, provide faster results, and are more sensitive, cost-effective, and tamper resistant. Additionally, in contrast with other pupil-analysis players, IriTech's unique technology does not require a baseline, tests both eyes simultaneously, and evaluates over 40 parameters.

In iris biometrics, IriTech has built upon key developments in the industry to create an iris biometric solution that is more accurate and cost-effective than the competition. IriTech has patented it iris-imaging techniques, and filed a patent for stereo facial recognition.

The company's technology development offers levels of cost-savings and accuracy never before experienced in the drugs-of-abuse (DAT) and biometrics industries. For example, in the DAT space, IriTech's drug testing solutions facilitate savings of up to 80 percent with significantly increased accuracy rates over traditional urine analysis and hair tests. In biometrics, our iris recognition capability boasts higher accuracy rates than the nearest competitor and is approximately 60 percent more economical. IriTech¡¯s approach to iris biometrics is based on a Variable Multisector Method. This methodology maps both eyes, focuses on the permanent portion of the iris, and considers the shape and position of the lacuna, ANW geometry (shape around the border of the inner iris structure), and pupil movement to lead to a superior and more accurate solution.
